Die-cast and machined metal. Perfect for adding distance between scope and tripod on iOptron CEM26/HEM27/GEM28/HAE29 mounts.

    I was hoping this minipier would add 8 inches to the height of my mount on the carbon fiber mount.  In order to do so you must separate the two pieces of the pier.  They are bolted together so incredibly tightly that I was only able to remove 2 out of the 3 bolts, and that with extreme effort. The third was so tight that my Allen wrench stripped the head of the bolt before the bolt would budge.  So I replaced the two bolts I was able to remove and I am using it as a 5.5" pier.  As a 5.5" pier it works well but what a disappointment that I was not able to add the additional 2.5" components so as to have an 8" pier.

    Ordered it on Thursday, received it Saturday morning, unbelievable. I'm 6' tall, this 8" extension pier puts the scope at the perfect height for me on the CEM26. It also puts it high enough to see above the obstruction and have a clear shot at Polaris now, which is why I had purchased it. Quality is better than I expected. Its solid, bolted right up, also lighter than it looks. Highly recommend it.
