We use advanced optical alignment instruments, incorporating high-precision collimation tools. These allow us to measure and adjust the alignment of your telescope’s optics to a degree of accuracy that simply isn’t possible with basic tools found in most hobby kits. In fact, very few collimators even work with refractors.

In addition, our process employs methods typically reserved for professional observatories and serious astrophotographers. This ensures not only perfect on-axis alignment, but also optimal performance across the entire field of view.

Primary objective cleaning using high quality and safe cleaning solutions and a multi-step cleaning technique in order to ensure the highest level of safety. Safe for all lenses and objective, including but not limited to higher end objectives using fluorite, FPL-53, FPL-55, FCD-100, and FK-61.

If removable, the lens cell will be removed, and both the lens cell and tube will be meticulously and carefully cleaned for dust. Every objective and scope will be treated with the utmost care and subsequently re-collimated after re-assembly.
